The 20 Wonders of the Web - Unveiled

Maryland, USA (PR WEB) -- IAWD, an international association and advocacy for the Web industry, today announces the official Call for Entries for the 2003 International Web Awards(TM). Hosted by IAWD, the International Web Awards honors the Web industry's most extraordinary professionals and the best web sites of the year.

This year, awards will be presented to the "Wonders of the Web" in 20 categories, including Web Site of the Year, Achievement in Web Interface Design, Best Game Site and Sports Site of the Year. The Platinum Web Award recognizes an individual, team or company that has made significant contributions to the Web industry. IAWD will present $5,000 and a trophy to the winner of this prestigious award.

Any Web professional and any Web site active during the nomination period (April - November 2003) that falls under at least one award category is eligible for entry. Individuals, teams, and businesses are encouraged to submit entries for nomination at the official Awards web site at: www.iwebawards.com. The deadline for entries is 5:00 p.m. (EST), October 7, 2003.
