With Immediate Server Replacement, Limestone Networks will proactively monitor dedicated servers for responsiveness. If a server is unresponsive due to a hardware failure, a technician will immediately transfer the hard drive from the malfunctioning server to a separate, functioning server. This immediate switch significantly minimizes possible downtime.

The program’s proactive monitoring component works by sending pings to servers at various intervals—usually every few minutes. If a ping is not received back from a given server, a technician is notified and dispatched to investigate the problem.
