Entrecore releases Outlook synchronization tool built on the Etelos Platform

Renton, Wash. - Oct. 18, 2007 - Etelos Premier Development Partner Entrecore announces the release of its latest application built on the Etelos Platform - EO SyncTM.

EO Sync is an Outlook synchronization tool designed to allow users to synchronize Outlook contacts across multiple applications. Etelos-Outlook Sync has been a popular request of Entrecore's CRM and Etelos CRMTM for Google Apps customers, and is now be available on the Etelos MarketplaceTM.

"With EO Sync, users can synchronize their contacts in Outlook or their Etelos CRM application with any other application using Outlook as the common transport," Entrecore CTO Michael Jones said. "Now, Etelos users can carry their contacts, calendar and tasks in their mobile phone or other devices, as well as Outlook.

EO Sync is now available on the Etelos Marketplace as an on-demand download. The Etelos Marketplace is an online store that gives a business the ability to choose an on demand application and install it to the hosting environment of its choice. This means that current Etelos and Entrecore customers can begin synchronizing their Outlook contacts immediately.

The current release is compatible with Outlook 2003. Entrecore, however, will shortly release a version that will allow all users of Outlook to synchronize their contacts. Once the user downloads and installs the application, a new EO Sync icon is added to the end of the Outlook toolbar. The user simply maps the information to synchronize and logs in to the application. Once successfully connected, the system will synchronize the selected Etelos data with Outlook.
