UK Software Testing Autumn Training Schedule Launched by Insight Test Services

August 8, 2007; 02:45 AM
Insight Test Services, the leading full-service software quality assurance and testing services provider, has launched its autumn public training course schedule, featuring an array of courses covering every aspect of software quality and testing. It includes courses for the ISTQB Foundation exam, the official professional certification standard for the industry.

Other popular topics include Requirements Engineering and Management, Software Configuration Management, and Risk-based Testing. A number of courses have been specifically tailored to the needs of other stakeholders, such as Testing for Project Managers, Testing for Developers, and a variant of this course for Java developers. For those new to testing there is a one-day Testing Basics course.

An innovative feature of the schedule is a two-day workshop, Theory into Practice: A Practical workshop on Software Testing. Workshop attendees test an actual practical application and get an opportunity to apply their test planning and design knowledge and skills. Those who acquire software from external vendors are catered for with two-day courses on Supplier Quality Management, while the general User Acceptance Testing course is also suitable for their needs. Most courses are scheduled for central London and are also available to run in-house and can be fully customised. The full schedule is available on www.insight-test.co.uk.

Fran O'Hara, Insight's Practice Director, said: "As well as the professional certification training, our schedule offers a number of innovative practical and pragmatic courses on topics that are not widely available elsewhere, such as Testing for Java Developers or our innovative Theory into Practice workshop. Participants tell us that what they really like about our training is our proven policy of using our consultant practitioners, who have vast practical experience, as tutors rather than full-time trainers."
