Clickfire.com Gives away Free Website Templates to Celebrate 10th Anniversary

Clickfire℠ (www.clickfire.com), an established free webmaster resources portal, will release a series of free website templates beginning this month to start the countdown to its ten year anniversary. The simple templates can be used by anyone from the casual HTML dabbler to the professional web designer. The templates can be customized and deployed for self or for clients with no charge or obligation.

Clickfire plans to release one template each month starting in July with the last template being released in the December, the month marking the 10th anniversary of Clickfire.com. The free website templates will include a variety of styles from various niches like business, music, gaming, and web hosting. All of the upcoming free website templates will feature:

• Valid HTML/CSS
• Photoshop PSD
• Clean Graphics
• SEO Friendly Design
• Commented Code for Easy Edits

Many design firms are in the business of selling website templates and many offer templates to download free as well. Problems that designers encounter with templates include difficulty editing, lack of validation, missing SEO elements and onerous terms of service that require a link back to the author's site. Clickfire free website templates were designed specifically to alleviate these common issues.

Commenting on why the templates are being released free of charge, Clickfire webmaster and founder, Emory Rowland explains, "I had originally thought of selling some or all of the templates. But, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that giving the templates away free was the right option." He continued, saying, "I want to stay true to Clickfire's roots of giving away free stuff to webmasters. What better time than leading up to our ten year anniversary celebration in December of 2007?"
