FORPSI Selects SWsoft Virtuozzo to Power Virtual Server

HERNDON, Va., June 1, 2007 – SWsoft today announced that FORPSI, the No. 1 web hosting provider in the Czech Republic¹, has launched new Virtual Server offerings powered by SWsoft Virtuozzo virtualization software.     

FORPSI Virtual Servers use SWsoft’s patented Virtuozzo technology to create multiple, isolated virtual environments - or virtual private servers - on a single physical server and operating system, making the most efficient use of hardware, software and other resources. FORPSI Virtual Servers provide a complete range of traditional web hosting services, including administration of websites, FTP, DNS, e-mail and databases.

FORPSI has two Virtual Server offerings:  Basic and Professional. The Basic server provides a control panel for 10 domain names with 1 Mbps of guaranteed bandwidth and 3 GB disk storage. The Professional server includes 30 domain names with 2 Mbps of bandwidth and 15 GB of disk storage. Both servers are available for Windows or Linux. Prices start at 300 Czech crowns/month (approximately US$14).
