PowerVideo Suite™, which contains the patented
Gotuit technology for powering video libraries across broadband and
mobile platforms. As part of the Gotuit PowerVideo Suite, Gotuit
announced its newest module, Gotuit VideoMixer™,
which enables publishers to deepen their relationship with their viewers
by giving them the ability to produce video remixes, without ever
altering the source video files.
Built on the metadata-driven Gotuit technology currently being used by
customers such as the National Hockey
League and Sports
Illustrated, the Gotuit PowerVideo Suite includes a compelling set
of technology and solutions publishers can use to optimize both their
video experience and their ability to monetize their libraries, using

Gotuit VideoPlayer™ –
This modular player empowers publishers to utilize the Gotuit Metadata
for vastly improved video discovery and playback experience.
Publishers can design and build their video application to their own
specifications, with features such as a flexible and targetable
advertising model, viral sharing options, user favorites, commerce
and/or merchandising, and an embedded player (for scenes, videos,
playlists, or remixes). Gotuit VideoPlayer is available with both
broadband and mobile options.

Gotuit VideoDiscovery™ –
This module delivers InVideo search and discovery from the Gotuit
Metadata. Each video in the source library is marked for its logical
scenes, with each scene getting its own Title, Description, Time
In/Time Out, Tags, and Attributes. Scenes across the library are then
organized into interesting playlists for the viewer or advertiser. The
entire dataset is searchable, allowing viewers to search both inside
the videos and across the entire library for precisely what they want
to watch.

Gotuit VideoMarker™ –
Leveraging technology first made available at Gotuit’s
www.scenemaker.net, this
module enables publishers to allow their users to easily mark and
define their favorite scenes. The user gives each scene its own Title,
Description, Time In/Out, and Tags for easy searching by the
community. User-defined scenes can then be remixed within Gotuit
VideoMixer.

Gotuit VideoMixer™ –
The newest addition to the Gotuit portfolio, this module enables the
publisher to give their users the ability to remix videos and produce
entirely new video experiences just from manipulating the video
metadata. Publishers can seed the VideoMixer with their own
pre-defined scenes, and/or allow users to define their own scenes
using Gotuit VideoMarker. Publishers can also allow users to remix
using the natural scene audio, or replace that audio with an approved
audio bed for the remix. Most importantly, a new video experience
produced with Gotuit VideoMixer does not actually create a new video,
just a new metadata file that describes the video and its various play
points. In this way, it delivers a compelling and intuitive experience
for the viewer, while making it much simpler for the publisher as they
do not have to store and manage thousands of user-remixed video files.
