Go Daddy Recognized as a Leader in Providing Web Site Security

As more and more people begin to pay bills, shop and do business online, customers are becoming increasingly interested in making sure the Web sites they use are secure.

SSL certificates are used for everything from Web site login forms to online retail stores, online banking and charity donation sites. Netcraft has run its SSL survey each month since November 1996. Back then, Netcraft found fewer than 3,300 SSL sites with valid third party certificates. Netcraft’s most recent survey found 600,000 SSL certificates in use on the Internet.
