eBay Inc. Developer Community Invited to Sixth Annual Developers Conference

eBay Inc. (Nasdaq:EBAY)(www.ebay.com) today extended an invitation to developers, affiliates and entrepreneurs to join the company at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in Boston, MA, June 11-13, 2007 for its sixth annual Developers Conference. eBay Inc. provides an unprecedented global opportunity for third-parties to build innovative applications, expand their businesses and create new revenue streams on its platforms.

The eBay Developers Conference 2007 will feature industry thought leaders and innovators such as Pierre Omidyar, founder of eBay and CEO of Omidyar Network, John Donahoe, President of eBay Marketplaces, Kevin Lynch, Chief Software Architect at Adobe, Scott Thompson, CTO of PayPal, and other executives from eBay, PayPal, Skype, ProStores and Shopping.com. Keynote speakers will discuss technology innovations happening on the eBay Inc. platforms and across the Web that will allow developers to help shape the future of commerce.

The eBay Developers Conference 2007 will kick off with keynote speeches and product and program announcements to help developers realize the economic and innovation opportunities available to them through the eBay Inc. developers programs. Attendees will gain ideas and inspiration through demos of applications developed internally by the eBay Disruptive Innovation team, as well as by fellow third-party developers. A particular focus at this year’s event will be innovations and applications that enhance the buyer experience on eBay.

The conference will be organized on three tracks: affiliate traffic and buying applications; selling and merchant tools; and commerce consulting and integration. These tracks will incorporate in-depth technical and business sessions as well as hands-on labs and demonstrations. Advanced topics covered will include customizing a shopping cart, search engine optimization, and Web services integration using Ajax and Flash.

Registration for the eBay Developers Conference 2007 includes admission to eBay Live! 2007 (June 14-16), eBay’s sixth annual community conference, also at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center. The standard conference fees are $595 for the general attendee package. Developer attendees who register before May 25^th will receive a 20% discount, paying only $475.
