YoFast Releases Pre-Search Software

Translation group launches Firefox and IE7 Internet Gadget

April 5, 2007; 04:21 AM
Just when you thought the search war was over someone figures out a way to further speed up the information retrieval process. By combining its proprietary relay technology with over 40,000 common words and phrases, YoFast, a fledgling software company in Olympia, Washington has succeeded in making it easier for users to search an extensive range of subjects with its pre-search software.

Cynthia Mann, founder of C Mann Research has spent most of her waking moments the last year developing and self-funding some very novel, dynamic and effective search and translation gadgets.

After a 20 year career as a Human Resources executive, specializing in Organizational Development, Risk Management and Strategic Planning, Ms. Mann decided last year to strike out on her own and build an online resource that would contain a large number of features and applications useful to a vast audience of international Internet users.

The YoFast website was designed to appeal to a broad spectrum of viewers, including consumers, researchers, editors, educators and students. The site’s clean and uncluttered appearance and ease of use (thanks to YoFast’s “Quick-Click”™ technology) are misleading however: beneath its simple façade is a site that is remarkably rich and sophisticated in content.

The YoFast Language Library allows users to quickly translate words and phrases between the following six languages: English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.

For the research-minded, YoFast offers an impressive array of links to prestigious research, academic and historical institutions including the Library of Congress, National Science Foundation, Smithsonian Institute, as well as leading business organizations, the news media and globally recognized universities.

YoFast further distinguishes itself from the crowd by guaranteeing its users complete anonymity. Unlike all other directories and search engines (which give lip service to privacy), YoFast does not track users of the site: they neither use cookies, nor do they datamine or keep log files.

YoFast’s speed, effectiveness and explosive popularity were recently demonstrated upon the Company’s launch of its new IE 7 and Firefox Internet Gadget: within a month the YoFast URL became imbedded in the deepest layers of prominent websites including the National Archives, PBS, the Department of Defense and leading universities. Likewise, within a week of the Gadget’s launch, Google spidered more than 5,000 pages of Los Angeles Times content through the YoFast system.

Ms. Mann has signed a long-term agreement with David Warren, a veteran researcher in search data compilation, and believes that the system can save individuals and organizations valuable hours in allocated research time.

Mr. Warren states; “I believe that a sphere-based process of design with a single focus is more effective than a linear plan of processing with a shotgun approach to user awareness and marketing. While most companies want to keep users glued to their site, our goal is to help others find timely, relevant and credible information at record-breaking speed.”

C Mann Research has retained Bruce Clay, Inc., the Internet’s leading authority on Search Engine Marketing and a premier sponsor of the April Search Engine Strategies Conference in New York and June Search Marketing Expo in Seattle, as the exclusive marketing agent for its Language Library and proprietary Internet Gadget.

Bruce Clay, Inc.’s President, Bruce Clay, will also be speaking at the April ad:tech Conference in San Francisco. Mr. Clay and his organization will be demonstrating the search and retrieval power of YoFast at all three conferences.

Mr. Clay observes: “We have seen our foreign language clients struggle with the translation of search queries. YoFast allows a search in one language to be almost immediately translated into six languages, allowing those speaking other languages to find their sites."

Brimming with enthusiasm, Clay adds, “(YoFast) is a spectacular service for those catering to bi-lingual users or those looking to expand their keyword campaigns and it is offered as a free service thanks to sponsors with the vision to recognize the value of this service.”

“My development team likes to refer to our product as a ’comprehensive pre-search library companion,’” notes Ms. Mann, who grew up in Long Island, New York and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Colgate University.

In the coming months, YoFast will be augmenting its site with additional useful gadgets. Meanwhile, you can personally observe the results of the YoFast system at http://www.yofast.net/internet-marketing.html.

YoFast is a subsidiary of C Mann Research, LLC, a privately held Washington company.
