Unica Kicks Off Month-long Internet Marketing-focused Blogging Event

Rand Schulman, new GM of Unica’s Internet Marketing Group, will kick off a month-long Internet marketing blogging event on The Marketers’ Consortiumhttp://unicashare.typepad.com) starting in April. Co-hosting the IM-focused ‘blog party’ will be Steve O’Brien, VP of marketing for the Unica’s IM Group.

The Marketers’ Consortium is an online community developed exclusively for marketing executives. Hosted by Unica, the blog features lively discussions about the critical challenges facing senior marketers today. Topics range from cross-channel marketing and marketing operations issues to the new social media strategies that marketers are employing to reach out to customers.

Previous hosts of The Marketers’ Consortium include marketing thought leaders such as Don Peppers, Peppers and Rogers Group; Elana Anderson, Forrester Research, Pat LaPointe, MarketingNPV; and Elizabeth Roche, Customers Incorporated.

Schulman and O’Brien will be taking over the blogging reins from Chris Kenton, President of MotiveLab, a social marketing agency, and author of the marketing strategy blog Marketonomy.com.
