March 27, 2007; 06:31 AM
Unify Corp., a global provider of software solutions to modernize mission critical applications into a service-oriented architecture (SOA), today announced it has signed three new NXJ Developer distribution agreements with Latin America solution providers, Unisystem, Innovasoft Ltda. and SAM Sistemas S.R.L. Representing the regions of Brazil, Chile and Argentina respectively, each of the distributors have added Unify’s NXJ Developer to their portfolio of product and service offerings, enabling them rapid application development capabilities for building Web 2.0 Rich Internet Applications (RIA) in a Java environment.

The partners are leveraging the easy visual development and integration capabilities offered by NXJ Developer, Unify’s award-winning application development product, to create and deliver new business applications that support an SOA. As a Unify distributor, each partner has received training, support and dedicated sales resources to help bolster their speed and success in developing and implementing business applications that leverage Web services and SOA.

“We are excited to bring NXJ Developer to our key partners Unisystem, Innovasoft and SAM Sistemas to extend and strengthen our reach in this growing market for Java-based Web applications,” said Todd Wille, CEO of Unify. “By adding NXJ Developer to their portfolio of offerings, our partners will have opportunities to rapidly grow their client base and increase market presence with Web services, SOA and Rich Internet application development solutions.”

Unisystem, headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil, provides development services to companies looking for cost effective outsourcing solutions. With more than 100 trained developers, Unisystem focuses on delivering development services that embrace the entire application life cycle using resources and methodologies that major companies need to reduce IT costs and increase ROI.

“After five years of partnership with GUPTA, we are extremely satisfied with our new agreement with Unify,” said Samuel Ayres, CEO of Unisystem. “We believe the merging of our knowledge of the Brazilian market with the great product quality of NXJ Developer, gives us very important differentiation to offer to Brazilian companies including high productivity solutions, and superior development of applications.”

Chilean solution provider Innovasoft Ltda commented, “We are pleased to partner with Unify and continue a long and very profitable relationship in this growing market,” said Miguel Collado, CEO of Innovasoft Ltda. “We’ve reviewed the products that Unify offers and we expect that they are going to be very well accepted by our customers in Chile.”

“In SAM Sistemas, we are very optimistic about the opportunities that the Unify tools will offer to us,” said Daniel R. Tovillas, CEO, SAM Sistemas S.R.L. “Our historical GUPTA clients were waiting for powerful Web solutions and Unify’s NXJ Developer tool fulfills this necessity completely and will allow our clients to grow. We are anxious to be able to offer these solutions to the market.”
