Useful Technology Leverages Amazon Web ServicesJanuary 25, 2007; 07:26 AM Useful Technology™ will be using the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), and other offerings from Amazon Web Services to cost-effectively manage its new software package. “Virtualized computing is an integral part of our operating strategy,” said CEO Jason Milgram. “Amazon’s Amazon EC2 and Amazon S3 services enable quick and massive scaling of the Linxter™ platform.” By using Amazon Web Services, Useful Technology™ will reduce server, storage and bandwidth costs by twenty percent.
