SWsoft Announces Plesk 2.1 Expand With New Management Features and Updated Platform Support

HERNDON, Va. – December 12, 2006 – SWsoft, a recognized leader in server automation and virtualization software, today announced the release of Plesk Expand 2.1 with new features that make it easier for service providers to centrally manage Plesk servers and wider support for popular operating systems.

One key feature in Plesk Expand 2.1 is a new client/domain migration capability that enables administrators to move an account from one Plesk server to another.  The software also allows service providers to manage Plesk domain aliases from a centralized DNS solution.  The software adds support for Red Hat Fedora Core 4, CentOS4 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4. 

Additional key features include: 

• Centralized Trouble Ticketing Support – Enables service providers to manage trouble tickets for Plesk servers from a single point using powerful HelpDesk solutions such as Kayako SupportCenter and Cerberus HelpDesk.
• License Auto-update -- Allows administrators to upgrade keys automatically with an option to renew SUS.
• VZ Templates – VZ template distribution includes easy installation in Virtuozzo nodes.
• Single Startup Script – New script enables service providers to easily control Plesk Expand on daemons, Apache and MySQL.
• VZCC – Virtuozzo Control Center web panel will be available for Plesk Servers installed in Virtuozzo.
