Voxeo Acquires VoiceReady to Dramatically Simplify Telephony Application Design and Delivery

Voxeo Corporation announced the acquisition of VoiceReady, a privately held company whose web-based graphical design and reporting solutions enable the rapid delivery and management of VoiceXML and VoIP-based telephony applications. VoiceReady will be re-launched on August 30th as Evolution Designer and will become part of Voxeo's widely used Evolution customer and developer portal.

Evolution Designer enables rapid "Do it Yourself" or "Customer Self Service" delivery of speech, VoIP, and IVR applications while providing a significant reduction in costs. In a side-by-side comparison with industry-standard development cycles, Designer reduced the time and cost required to create telephony applications by more than 60%. Designer's simple, non-technical interface makes it easy for anyone to quickly build, deploy, and manage telephony applications. Small businesses - or even groups within large enterprises - can use Designer to deliver voice applications without writing a single line of code or requiring specialized IT or developer resources.

Designer will be available at no charge to members of Voxeo's Evolution Community developer program. Evolution Community is one of the largest and most active voice application developer programs in the world, with over 21,000 registered members who have created more than 38,000 applications. The addition of Designer to the Evolution program will give Voxeo's existing telephony developers, customers, and partners a powerful new tool to create, debug, and deploy voice applications faster than ever before.
