Bit Group Inc., a full-service technology consulting firm that helps clients make lasting and substantial improvements in their business performance,  announced a development partnership with OpenPages, contributing specialized Java, Internationalization and Web application expertise to assist in delivering OpenPages FCM 4.0 to a broad international market. OpenPages FCM is now available for the Japanese, Chinese, French, German and Spanish-speaking markets, with more languages and regions being added in upcoming months.

OpenPages is the leading provider of enterprise governance, risk and compliance management solutions, and partnered with Bit Group to help the company expand its enterprise financial controls management software capabilities internationally. With Bit Group's localization and integration efforts, OpenPages is now offering OpenPages FCM globally to help its customers adhere not just to Sarbanes-Oxley in the United States, but to each market's specific needs.

"We turned to Bit Group to achieve our business goal of further expanding globally because of their comprehensive approach to internationalization and top-notch Java and Web development talent," said Gary Zakon, vice president of engineering, OpenPages. "We knew we could count on Bit Group's team because they had previously delivered three successful projects for us, each on time and on budget, and they consistently demonstrated relentless commitment to our business goals."

In addition to automated reporting and disclosure, OpenPages FCM combines powerful document and process management with flexible reporting capabilities. Its easy-to-use environment empowers CEOs, CFOs and financial management officers to enforce and provide up to the minute tracking of all internal controls in facilitating ongoing corporate compliance. Bit Group's contributions include:

-- Early availability of OpenPages FCM in the six highest-demand languages: English, Japanese, French, German, Spanish and Chinese

-- Separating language support from the Product Release cycle: new languages will be introduced throughout the coming year

-- Automating the technical aspects of translation and linguistic verification

-- User Interface enhancements that comply with international regulations such as the United Kingdom's Disabilities Discrimination Act of 1995 and domestic accessibility regulations such as Section 508

Steffan Berelowitz, president of Bit Group, said, "OpenPages is the leading software company in their sector, and we were delighted to work with them. This partnership continues our mission of offering the broadest class of Web integration and support services.
