ArcSoft Releases Magic-i 3 for Webcam Users
WebKnowHow ArcSoft, Inc. released today ArcSoft Magic-i 3, the new version of its popular webcam software. Magic-i 3 is a powerful webcam application designed to enhance users’ video chat experience. Using the Virtual Driver technology, Magic-i can be selected as the video source to launch automatically with video chat clients or other webcam applications such as ArcSoft’s Webcam Companion 2.
“Magic-i 3 strengthens ArcSoft’s webcam offerings,” said Michael Downs, ArcSoft Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. “Between streaming video to multiple applications at once and streaming multimedia files right through the video chat session, end-users now have even more ways to enhance their video chats in fun and exciting ways.” Magic-i 3 features ArcSoft’s widely acclaimed Stream Splitter technology which allows a single webcam device to be shared by different applications, making simultaneous streaming of multiple chat sessions possible. In addition to the webcam video effects, the program can also stream – and enhance in real-time – multimedia files stored locally, including videos, photos, and PowerPoint presentations.
