ContentWatch, a leading provider of Internet protection solutions for homes, businesses, education, and government organizations, today announced that it has signed an agreement with RealNetworks, Inc. to add ContentProtect Internet parental controls to the Real Broadband Essentials security bundle. Through the partnership, Reals customers can subscribe to Real Broadband Essentials and receive ContentWatchs award-winning Internet filtering software, ContentProtect.

Real Broadband Essentials is a subscription package of downloadable security software designed to provide families with tools to protect their PCs and their families. Customers are automatically kept up-to-date during the lifetime of their subscription.

With the advent of social networking, children and teenagers are increasingly exposed to situations they might not be mature enough to assess on their own, and studies show that many parents aren't aware of their children's actions, said Harold Zeitz, senior vice president of Media Software and Services at Real. "With ContentProtect, our users manage when and how their children explore so the entire family is protected on the Web.

With the addition of parental controls, customers will now have protection for their families as well as their computers. ContentProtect is the No. 1-rated Internet filter in the marketplace according to TopTenREVIEWS (www.internetfilterreview.com). Its patent-pending, dynamic contextual analysis engine analyzes content in real time. This contrasts with filtering products that use URL list filtering, since they cannot keep up with the ever-changing enormity of the Web. ContentProtect also includes powerful remote management and reporting tools to help parents monitor child Internet access from remote locations as well as access to Instant Messaging and P2P applications.

ContentWatch is pleased to partner with RealNetworks in offering state-of-the-art Internet filtering to its SuperPass customers, said Jack Sunderlage, president and CEO of ContentWatch. Both RealNetworks and ContentWatch have a common goal of keeping families safe online, and through our collaboration, were one step closer to reaching that goal.

The Real Broadband Essentials package is included as a benefit at no extra cost to Real SuperPass(TM)subscribers, and is also offered as a stand-alone subscription for $12.99 a month. Free trials are available at http://broadband.real.com.
