Trunis Inc. announced the launch of a new tool for aiding companies in gathering customer opinion data using an internet based system called Your Voice Matters. The web-based service, located at www.yourvoicematters.net, is designed to allow businesses the opportunity to capture qualitative data on their customer’s experiences in a simple and cost effective way.

Your Voice Matters offers two formats for capturing data. The first is a questionnaire and the second is an easy to use report card. Businesses can choose from a list of available survey questions and demographic information/characteristics or they can customize their surveys with questions they write. No more than seven questions or characteristics can be used in any one survey or report card, making the surveys quick and easy for customers to complete. The surveys are designed to provide a wealth of information for the companies interested in finding out what their customers have to say.

According to Trunis president Darrin Haugan, “It is vitally important for businesses to capture their customer’s experiences and YourVoiceMatters.net allows them to do it in a cost effective and simple manner. It’s easy for both the customer and the business,” he says.

Haugan believes the simplicity of the website will lead businesses to gathering valuable data that will help them understand the “voice of the customer.”

“All the customer has to do is go to the website and input a special code given to them by the business which takes them to the specially designed survey. The surveys are designed to take about a minute to complete. It’s that simple,” Haugan says.

Participating businesses have several options for directing their customers to the Your Voice Matters.net services. Businesses can offer a link from their own websites, they can send e-mails with a link, or they can simply hand out a card to their customers directing them to the site. Each option gives the customer the chance to provide feedback. All customer responses are anonymous unless otherwise checked. Participating businesses can retrieve their data at any time by just logging onto the site.

Your Voice Matters.net was established to fit the needs of almost any organization regardless of the industry or type of business. Haugan envisions it this way. “It doesn’t matter if the organization is a manufacturer, a doctor’s office, a restaurant, or the local dry cleaners, all of them need feedback to improve their services or products.”
