Lights! Cameras! Indie! This September, Movielink (www.movielink.com), a U.S. broadband video-on-demand (VOD) download service, will celebrate independent films throughout the month. Movielink's Indie Spotlight will feature an array of titles from "Akeelah and the Bee" and "Born Into Brothels," to directorial debuts like Sofia Coppola's "The Virgin Suicides," and breakout roles like Mel Gibson in "Mad Max" and Amy Adams in "Junebug." Original and provocative titles spanning art house flicks like "Welcome to the Dollhouse," cult horror classics like "House of a 1000 Corpses" and acclaimed documentaries like "Super Size Me!" will enable fans to watch all their favorites and discover new ones.

Movielink makes it easy to browse and discover indie films by offering consumers themed collections such as: "Groundbreaking Indies," "Dark Indie Comedies," "Sexy Indies" and even "Indies to Impress Your Stuck-Up Friends!"

Movielink has joined forces with American Film Institute (AFI), Premiere Magazine and the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel to deliver the "Movielink Takes You to Hollywood Sweepstakes."
