Karelia Software Updates Sandvox Web Design App

Karelia Software has released an update to Sandvox, "a powerful, playful new website creation tool, for Mac OS X".  The new version 1.0.3 was announced on the company website.

Sanvox dismisses "previews" in lieu of live rich text editing.

The update offers bug fixes and minor improvements, including the capcity to include remote URLs in websites for QuickTime content, faster thumbnail generation and improved uploading using Secure FTP. It also adds support for additional languages.

Sandvox features drag-and-drop website assembly, live editing without a preview mode, and ready-made designs. The Pro version allows for the creation of raw HTML documents.

The company provides a free webcast on Sandvox development at www.karelia.com. 

The regular version of the web design application costs $49, the Pro version is $79.
