Interchange Corporation, owner of local search engine Local.com, announced the launch of its new PeopleSearch functionality on the Local.com site.

PeopleSearch enhances Local.com's nationwide search capabilities by adding the ability to look up 92 million residential listings in addition to more than 10 million local businesses. Interchange's Keyword DNA(R) technology enables consumers to do highly specific and detailed searches for local products and services.

"We're continually adding high utility content to Local.com in order to deliver a far richer user experience for our nine million unique visitors each month," said Peter Hutto, Interchange Vice President of Business Development and Sales. "Adding PeopleSearch to our site is a great service benefit for our users because now they can find local businesses, products, services and people on one local search engine -- Local.com."

Local.com users can also perform reverse phone number, address lookups, and area and ZIP code information.
