ExpertVillage.com, an Internet source for how-to
information straight from the experts, announced the release
of the ExpertVillage Gadget, featuring free Daily Video Tip service for
Google Personalized Home Page users. The new ExpertVillage Gadget
offers the only video content other than Google Video available for
viewing directly on the Google Personalized Home Page, and features a
new advertising-free how-to video tip each day. Daily Video Tips
include everything from kickboxing to bonsai trimming techniques and
are intended to inspire Google Personalized Home Page users to expand
their personal interests and general knowledge through original
short-format how-to videos. "Increasingly consumers are
turning to the Internet when they want visual instruction on everything
from house repair, to re-building car engines, to cooking, sports, and
self-defense techniques," said Byron Reese, founder of
ExpertVillage.com. "Our how-to video content is imbedded directly into
the Google Personalized Home Page for fast and fun viewing."
Each day when users visit their Google Home Page, a new ExpertVillage
Daily Video Tip will appear. Users simply click the image on the page
to view content without being re-directed to another Web site.
Available immediately, ExpertVillage Gadget can be added to a Google
Home Page by choosing the "Add Content" option. Next to the directory
search box, click "Add URL" and enter: http://www.ExpertVillage.com/module.xml.
