Attendee registration begins today for eBay's sixth annual community conference, eBay Live!, which will take place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center June 14-16. The three-day event is expected to bring together more than 10,000 eBay buyers and sellers from around the world.

“Our sixth annual eBay Live! is a celebration of the eBay community, which is larger and more enthusiastic than ever,” said Bill Cobb, president, eBay North America. “This is the premier event for eBay users to come together, share their stories, learn new ways to buy and sell on the world’s largest online marketplace, and most importantly, have fun!”

eBay also announced that the United States Postal Service will be eBay Live’s title sponsor. The theme for 2007 is “The Power of All of Us.”

eBay Live! will offer more than 150 classes tailored to improve the buying and selling skills of beginning, intermediate and advanced eBay users. Attendees will also have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in roundtables and panels with eBay executives
  • Listen to special guest speakers such as: Suze Orman, Emmy Award-winning TV host, author, and one America’s most recognized experts on personal finance; Seth Godin, bestselling author of seven books including Permission Marketing; and John Gardner, co-author of Chicken Soup for the Entrepreneur’s Soul
  • Visit the first eBay Live! Bookstore, with access to books about eBay, personal finance, running a small business and other relevant topics
  • Enjoy a gala event with the eBay community

The registration fee is $60 today through April 6. From April 7 through May 25, registration is $75 and from May 26 through June 16, registration is $100. The registration fee includes classes, parties and keynote speeches throughout the three-day event. The conference is open to everyone 18 and over. Childcare and Teen Camp will also be available each day for attendees under 18 years old.

For the first time, eBay will offer a Priority Pass option to the first 750 people who register. For an additional $150, attendees can enjoy priority seating, a special conference tote bag, and lunch with eBay executives, among other benefits.

Register online at www.ebay.com/ebaylive. On-site registration will also be available beginning June 14 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, unless the event sells out in advance, as it did last year when the conference was held in Las Vegas.
