Boston Welcomes eBay Community for 6th Annual eBay Live! Conference
WebKnowHow Attendee registration begins today for eBay's sixth annual community conference, eBay Live!, which will take place at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center June 14-16. The three-day event is expected to bring together more than 10,000 eBay buyers and sellers from around the world. “Our sixth annual eBay Live! is a celebration of the eBay community, which is larger and more enthusiastic than ever,” said Bill Cobb, president, eBay North America. “This is the premier event for eBay users to come together, share their stories, learn new ways to buy and sell on the world’s largest online marketplace, and most importantly, have fun!” eBay also announced that the United States Postal Service will be eBay Live’s title sponsor. The theme for 2007 is “The Power of All of Us.” eBay Live! will offer more than 150 classes tailored to improve the buying and selling skills of beginning, intermediate and advanced eBay users. The registration fee is $60 today through April 6. From April 7 through May 25, registration is $75 and from May 26 through June 16, registration is $100. The registration fee includes classes, parties and keynote speeches throughout the three-day event. The conference is open to everyone 18 and over. Childcare and Teen Camp will also be available each day for attendees under 18 years old. For the first time, eBay will offer a Priority Pass option to the first 750 people who register. For an additional $150, attendees can enjoy priority seating, a special conference tote bag, and lunch with eBay executives, among other benefits. Register online at www.ebay.com/ebaylive. On-site registration will also be available beginning June 14 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, unless the event sells out in advance, as it did last year when the conference was held in Las Vegas. |
