Nexaweb Names Vice President, Public Sector Sales; Strengthens Commitment to Providing Secure Enterprise Web 2.0 Applications for Government Entities

Nexaweb Technologies  announced Louis (Lou) J. Hutchinson, III as Vice President, Public Sector Sales. In the newly created role, Hutchinson will be responsible for the development and execution of Nexaweb's worldwide strategy for selling to government entities, including department of defense and intelligence agencies. He will report to Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Services, Brian Murphy.

"By expanding our team with a renewed focus on the government arena, Nexaweb demonstrates a firm commitment to enable highly secure and reliable enterprise Web 2.0 applications that meet stringent security and transaction-intensive requirements," said Murphy. "Lou's proven leadership in establishing, implementing and managing multi-million dollar organizations, along with his broad understanding of technology, will be a tremendous asset as we continue to expand our footprint in this industry sector."

Hutchinson possesses over 16 years of engineering experience and sales success in the technology industry, including three years at Netscape Communications Corporation, where he generated growth of a non-existent revenue market to a $22 million business. At Powersoft Corporation, Hutchinson initiated a new public sector sales organization that generated $61 million of dollars in revenue. Additionally, he served as founder and CEO of Crunchy Technologies, a worldwide leader in accessibility technology that he grew into a high-performance organization, before selling the company in 2004. Hutchinson graduated from the George Washington University (GW) with a BS in Computer Science and Statistics.
