Visual Guides to JavaScript Libraries Scriptaculous and Prototype Published
WebKnowHow Cheat sheets for what are arguably the most popular JavaScript collections have been made available to the coding public. The visual guides to Scipraculous and Prototype are posted online as free references, helpful to enthusiasts and professionals alike. The “Scriptaculous Cheat Sheet #1” was created by programmer and writer Amy Hoy, and is available on her site (http://www.slash7.com/articles/2006/04/22/scriptaculous-cheat-sheet-1 ). The idea of a cheat sheat came directly from none other than Thomas Fuchs, creator of Scriptaculous. The single-page PDF document covers all the combination effects of the library. It is reasonable to expect more cheat sheets coming out from the same source. The Prototype cheat sheet details “every method and property”, available in Prototype v1.5.0. Web developer Jonathan Snook hosts the visual guide in both PDF and PNG formats on his site at http://www.snook.ca/archives/000531.php . Both cheat sheets have received positive feedback from their respective online audiences. Get your cheat sheet today! |
