Yaldex Software's 1st JavaScript Editor is, in fact, much more than a simple JavaScript editor. It is a multi-featured application for creating and debugging HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.  As such, it can be useful to both learning novices and seasoned web developers. The program runs only on Windows.

The program contains large libraries of "code snippets", including collections of HTML tags, HTML attributes, HTML events, JavaScript events and JavaScript functions, attributes, statements and operators (such as window, document, frame, history, location, navigator, date, math, string, etc - over 1200 of them).  The library contains over 200 commented ready-to-use controlled scripts (which are extremely easy to implement) and in addition, over 700 not controlled scripts for professionals. The ready-made code is inserted into the document via an intuitive drag-and-drop routine.

Moreover, the Yaldex JavaScript Editor contains tutorials and reference for HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

It comes in two versions: Lite and Pro. 1st JavaScript Editor Lite is in itself a complete editting and debugging solution, while the Pro version offers several additional options, tailored especially to the need of professional coders.  The trial download is a Pro version with a three week evaluation period, and registration turns it into either a Lite or Pro editor, according to the type of license purchased .  The Pro version costs $44,90.
