March 6, 2007; 05:53 AM Web marketer and web designer Stephanie M. Cockerl has launched a
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) e-course through her company next
STEPH. The 7-day e-course, will teach participants the basics of search
engine optimization and how to optimize webpages to enhance their
search engine visibility.
"This e-course helps webmasters to implement SEO during website
development, not after the fact…," states Cockerl. "Many webmasters and
website owners have questions about SEO after it has been launched.
With this course, web designers, web developers and webmasters will be
able to put SEO as part of the process of website design, development
and maintenance."
An e-course is a course that is held virtually via email. Participants
need access to an email account to get the course, and can use it at
any time convenient to their schedule.
Cockerl is the owner of next STEPH, a web development and marketing
company that works with entrepreneurs, media companies, non-profit
organizations, educational institutions and small businesses. She was
named MediaBistro's AvantGuild Member of the Week and featured in

the Web. Cockerl is also one of the 171 faces in the book, "Futurize
Your Enterprise: Business Strategy in the Age of the E-Customer," by
