MAGIX Online Services “Online Album”
and “Website Maker”
will be available on the online portal of the French internet provider “Free”.
They will be distributed via two newly created links in the main menu of
the portal www.free.fr. MAGIX’
products, including the offered online web services, will be advertised
intensively via banners on the portal.
While users can use the Online Album to present their digital photos,
videos and music on the web, the Flash-based Website Maker allows you to
easily create your own animated websites. Users will be directed from
the “www.free.fr”
website to a MAGIX site were they can subscribe to the service.
Free was the first private telecomunication services provider aside
state-owned France Telecom. Since then the group has been the
second-largest provider in France. The web portal “www.free.fr”
is visitied by 13 million users each month. In total, the “www.free.fr”
pages are accessed 240 million times per month.
Jürgen Jaron, CEO of MAGIX AG: “To
us, cooperation with Free is an important step towards raising the
visibility of our online services in France. It is part of our concept
to further grow MAGIX’ market share in
important European markets such as France, the UK, Scandinavia and Spain.”
